Hailing from Manchester, Olsen (Andrew Anderton) cut his teeth across the Northern club scene, having held residencies at Hidden and Sankeys in Manchester and also Wire in Leeds. With one album under his belt (2013's Totoro on Super Recordings), Olsen marks his return with Bloom. Described as understated and assured, Olsen's sound ranges from beatless atmospherics to groove heavy club music, whilst retaining a beauty and delicacy that makes his music unique and engaging. Bloom is a move into a more mature sound for Olsen, showcasing a thoughtfully produced collection of versatile tracks that have strong club flavours but which transcend the dancefloor, taking you on an emotive journey of blissful darkness.
